John Curran moved to Virginia with his family at age 12 and lived in Annandale, VA. He went on to graduate from Annandale High School before enlisting in the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Curran's Navy career took him to many locations and duties. When he completed his active duty obligation, he continued with two years of reserve duty.
Mr. Curran transitioned from the Navy and back to Virginia and began work in the defense industry where he designed communication systems used by the US and it's allies. He later opened his first company focused on privatizing government agencies which expanded in to business consulting. While consulting, John was presented with an opportunity to work on an alternative energy project, eventually leading to his own alternative energy company. This company focused on manufacturing and global energy solutions for developing countries.
John holds a Bachelors degree in Political Science and MBA in Economics.
Mr. Curran's work now focuses on helping start-up companies and corporate reorganization. John is active in his community and church with passion and advocacy addressing human trafficking and pregnancy support resources as an alternative to abortion.
